The permanent Observatory of Design ADI, composed of over 100 experts, organized into committees that operate on three different levels (Territorial, Thematic and Final Selection) has recognized the technological and design quality of Uniform, which allowed the company to define a very thin profile, only 40 mm visible, which perfectly frames the glass, enhancing it as in a painting. The reduced size of the profile leaves great space for the transparent surface and consequently maximizes the contribution of natural light in the environment while the hardware, which is always concealed, ensures a clean and essential image of the window. The warmth of wood enhances the elegance of the window, embellishing the clear and rigorous lines with its unique and unrepeatable grain and matching the harmony of the finishes of the interiors. This is also possible thanks to the many possibilities of customization that transform this technical element into a real piece of furniture. On the external side, the opportunity to completely hide the aluminum frame, allows to leave the glass as the only protagonist. ADI Design Index

The ADI Design Index is the first step in the race for the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award, conceived in 1954 by "La Rinascente" and then donated to ADI, which has managed it uninterruptedly since 1956. It is the most prestigious recognition of the production and design quality of goods, services, processes and systems of Italian design. The recognition, which gathers together the award-winning products, has generated the largest historical collection of design, declared in 2004 "good of national interest" (Ministerial Decree 22.04.2004). Moreover, since 2009, the ADI Design Index has become not only a pre-selection for the Compasso d'Oro Award but also an annual selection for the National Award for Innovation, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic. Each year, this important award sees ADI nominate three products that are significant from the point of view of the specific theme of innovation, selected from those published in the ADI Design Index.
